In mid-May, the Hawaii athletics department announced that its men’s sports teams would all be making the return to its original “Rainbow Warriors” moniker. Former football coach June Junes had requested that “Rainbow” be dropped because it was too soft for his liking.
Well, Jones may not have liked it, but we’re excited for the possibilities — and apparently we’re not alone. Designer Charles Sollars put together this massive and hyper-fresh line of concept helmets for the program as the Rainbow Warriors open up the 2013 season.
