A new era has been launched at Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers welcomed former Louisville and Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino to town just after the conclusion of the 2012-13 football season, and now they are unveiling new Russell uniforms to compliment their new coaching staff.
WKU unveiled three new uniforms on Thursday, including an all red, all black, and all white set. They will also be able to alternate the jersey and pants colors as they see fit.
Russell hooked the jerseys up with a modernized font for both the lettering and numbers. Within the numbers there is a faded image of the school’s seal, an awesome way to provide detail without overdoing the design.
To top the redesign off, WKU will be rocking a new, chrome helmet.
