The Texas A&M Aggies have given us their first glimpse at the American flag themed helmets the team will wear against UTEP on Saturday.
The Week 10 showdown will serve as the Aggies’ Military Appreciation Day. Below is a look at the helmets for the occasion. They feature the program’s standard “aTm” logo, but with a patriotic twist: As we can see, the Stars and Stripes show prominently within the aforementioned logo.
For a school that boasts a very strong military presence, this is a fantastic gesture. We can only imagine how excited Aggies fans are to watch Johnny Football score a few touchdowns in this lid.
